Clonlara was the venue on Saturday for the superbly organised Jack Moriarty Memorial Under 10 hurling tournament.

In warm conditions, ideal for hurling, 22 Tulla boys made up 2 teams with both sides playing three 24 minute matches.

The other clubs competing on the day were hosts Clonlara, Scariff/Ogonnelloe, Newport Co. Tipperary, Whitegate and Ardrahan Co. Galway.

At the end of a highly competitive mornings hurling the very determined Tulla boys emerged victorious and the Jack Moriarty Memorial Cup was presented to the Tulla team.
There were great performances throughout both teams with hooking and blocking especially to the fore.
All boys deserve great credit for how they represented the club on the day.

Next outing for this group is 9th September in Killaloe.
